I hope you guys had a great weekend! Mine was pretty low key again. Saturday we caught up with our friends who have a 6 month old little girl over lunch at a spot I’ve been wanting to try for a while now, called Branch Line. It’s in the Arsenal in Watertown which is great because you don’t have to worry about the dreaded parking situation that is all too common at many Boston spots. The outdoor patio is so lovely and is completely covered, breezy, with plenty of shade. Another cool thing about their patio is that there’s a full bocce ball area complete with everything you need to play. I have zero idea how to play, but it was fun watching the boys play while we sipped wine and ate all the appetizers hehe. Although we didn’t dine inside, the indoor dining area is just as lovely! For lunch time, make sure to get the sugar snap pea salad, the salted avocado appetizer, and the pork belly with chickpeas and a fried egg on top.
I scooped up a couple of the items in this outfit at the J. Crew outlet at Assembly Row. I had been eyeing this bucket bag for a while, so I was so happy to see it 50% off. I also scooped up this lace skirt at 50% off. It’s the perfect piece to throw on when you don’t feel like wearing pants (so always). I feel that it runs a bit big, so make sure to size down at least one size. I had never been to the outlets at Assembly Row until just a couple weeks ago, but there’s a lot of solid options such as J. Crew, Nike, Saks off 5th, Loft, Banana Republic, and….. a beer garden. Yes. So take your man and let him run off to the beer garden, while you shop, and you won’t even have to feel bad about it!
Other than that, we spent much of our weekend binge-watching Blood Line… Anyone else absolutely obsessed?! Netflix just released season 2 a couple weeks ago and all I’ve been wanting to do is watch episode after episode. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch now! Soooo good!! Have a great week everyone!!
