By now, most of you know my true love for Fresh beauty products (see past posts here & here). My love affair with Fresh beauty products started four or so years ago. Above all, I love that the products are gentle, have antioxidants, that the brand was started in Boston decades ago (so cool, right?!), and that they just plain WORK. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is my ride or die. I literally can’t go a day without it – and my skin reminds me of that by breaking out even if I go just a day without it. When it works, you keep it around which is why you’ll always find a tube in my shower or in my beauty drawers as backup.

For the past year or so, I’ve been conscious of sticking with just a few skincare brands that I’ve had really good luck with (Fresh, Caudalie, and Dr. Dennis Gross to name just a few that have been in heavy rotation). I finally feel like my skin is at a place where I’m decently content with it. It’s the best it’s been – but there’s still a bit of work to be made. Can you tell I’m a perfectionist?!

The Fresh team was sweet enough to invite me to their Newbury Street location in Boston a few weeks ago so that I could check out the 2018 Fresh Beauty Holiday Gift Sets (if you’re curious about 2017’s holiday gift sets, see this post for my roundup). I’m usually quite the online shopper, but stopping into the Fresh shop on Newbury Street in person is a must. What many might not know is that Fresh started as an apothecary store in Boston. Above all, the founders wanted a mundane, everyday routine like washing your face or bathing to be a sensory experience that felt luxurious, yet the products to still be effective. To me, the Newbury Street shop still has bits of that feel. You’re encouraged to try the products. To smell them. To try them on your hands and feel the textures. It truly is a wonderful sensory experience. I encourage you to stop in!

 Fresh Beauty Holiday Gift Sets

1. Roundtrip Ritual – Essentially the Fresh “Starter Pack”

If you or someone you know is new to Fresh, this is what I like to call the perfect Fresh “starter pack” for someone mid-20s and up. It’s a great way to try quite a few of their products for a pretty decent price. You get a Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (my favorite!), a Rose Face Mask, the Youth Preserve Face Cream, the Black Tea Age Delay Eye Cream, and the Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment (another one of my favorites- especially if you’re someone who’s outside a lot during winter or hits the slopes often). I say mid-20s and up because this contains anti-aging products. This may not be the best choice for someone who’s 16! Another trick I want to share is that if you have many people on your list or you’re looking to fill stockings, you can also disassemble this package and wrap the products individually to hit more people on your list.

2. Bon Voyage Lip Tints

I love these lip tints! My favorite being the Rosé. It gives your lips just the perfect amount of tint and is universally flattering. If you don’t want color on your lips or want moisture, but to then use a different lipstick, the Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment is the way to go. It’s clear but ultra-moisturizing. I love it for the winter months. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this gift set online, but if you go into your local Fresh store, you should be able to find it. Boston people – the Fresh store is right on Newbury Street so it’s super convenient and easy to get to. This is also a great gift set for those younger beauty product lovers who might not be old enough to really need full makeup products and/or a really regimented skincare routine yet!

3. Facial on the Fly

The Facial on the Fly gift set is another one of my favorite Fresh beauty holiday gift sets out this season. Unfortunately, it appears it has sold out everywhere online, but this gift set is a STEAL at just $25. If you can find it at your local store, definitely grab it! I know I keep gushing over the Soy Face Cleanser but I am obsessed. The Rose Face Mask and the Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream are two other favorites.

4. Frequent Flyer – Soy Face Cleanser & Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment Duo

At under $20, this Frequent Flyer gift set is another steal! If you’re looking for a larger Soy Face Cleanser, this is a great option. It has more oz. than the last gift set (the gift set above has 0.6 oz. while this cleanser is 1.6 oz).
